Every second year the Millennium Technology Prize is awarded by the Millennium Prize Foundation, an independent fund established by Finnish industry and the Finnish state in partnership. The foundation has 14 member organizations and its main financial supporters are the Technology Industries of Finland Centennial Foundation, the Confederation of Finnish Industries and the Finnish state.

Blog Spring cleaning - Changing the blog scope

Over a year ago I started to write this blog in finnish. After all I am from Finland and lived here mostly all my life. I had two major topics to which I was writing innovations and digital era in all shapes and form and how these two topics come together these days. I was blogging and blogging and after a while I noticed from my statistics that I have many english speaking readers from various counties among the finnish readers. Of course the english readers could not read my blog, but according to my statistic they still staid for a while - maybe just by accident….

One of the reason´s for my english audience might be in my blogtitle, but then again I think there was several other facts influencing my blog traffic.

During the past 2,5 years I have been working in international company. Majority my fellow workers are from various countries around the globe as my clients as well. During these years when I have been working in multicultural-vertial-international-customer teams in order to improve international companies digital marketing and sales in Finnish market area, I notice how little knowledge anyone (outside from Nordics) had about the Nordic, thus Finnish markets and consumer behaviour in Nordic countries.

Now its easter and I thought that if ever, this is the perfect time for some spring cleaning in my blog! So I change my blog scope and language in order to serve better the wide audience out there.

I kindly welcome you to my new blog. And if this digital era or innovations from all angle´s is your area of interest and you want to have more Nordic point of view for these topics, then I hope you stay as a regular blog audience and we could disscuss thing or two.

Also my dear friends out there - I know you are reading this and even if you are not working in the same digital field than I am, please join the discussion. I think your fresh point of view about digitality is more than appreciated.
